GREAT NEWS! First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit has been extended! Plus now you may be eligible for a tax credit even if you're NOT a first time homebuyer!
The first-time homebuyer tax credit of up to $8000 that was originally scheduled to end on November 30th, 2009 has now been extended through June 30, 2010. In order to qualify for this new credit, under the law, you must place a contract on a home by April 30, 2010, and close no later than June 30,2010.
HOWEVER......NOW even if you have owned your home for at least FIVE years and decide to sell and purchase another home, that next home may make you eligible for a tax credit of up to $6500!
SO WHETHER YOU'RE A FIRST TIME BUYER OR A 2ND, 3RD OR 4TH TIME BUYER, YOU COULD QUALIFY!
Both new credits are available to single buyers who do not make more than $125,000 per year or couples who file jointly and do not earn more than $225,000 a year. The maximum sales price of a home cannot exceed $800,000.
For more information on whether you may or may not qualify for this credit, don't hesitate to call us at 336-212-4040. And if we don't know the answer to any of your questions, we certainly know someone who does!
NOW more than ever, you need to meet two important criteria if you are trying to sell your home:
PRICE IT RIGHT PRESENT IT IN TOP CONDITION
Think about how you try to sell a car - you clean and shine it up (might even spray it with that 'new car smell in a bottle'), and you find out what the value of the car is BEFORE you try to sell it! You wouldn't try to sell a car plastered with 'personal statement' bumper stickers, would you? Same is true of selling a house. It's called 'marketing', and when you need professional advice, we're there to help. Give us a call at 336-212-4040 or 336-516-2625.

This economy has affected virtually everyone - so don't feel like you're in the boat by yourself if you have missed a house payment or can't make your next one. However, the important thing is not to wait before you reach out for help. Sometimes there are options that you may not have even thought about, or know about. That's where the professional services of a real estate broker can be a life saver. We are here to help!
Tough times call for creative measures! Not only do we offer a variety of listing and selling services through Keller Williams Preferred Realty in Mebane, NC (we cover all of Alamance County, NC and several of the outlying counties as well), but we also offer the option of renting your current property through Larson Property Mgmt, Inc., or we offer NICE rental properties for your consideration until you are ready to purchase. If you have a home that you are thinking of renting out, or want more information on turning it into an investment, we can provide you with lots of information which can help you make an informed decision.
In other words, we list and sell real estate, and we also property manage approximately 60 nice single family homes! And we are the HORSE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR - ALL of our properties are 'PET FRIENDLY'. We require that pets be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and NEVER KEPT ON CHAINS - we believe they should be a part of the family - preferably indoors with the rest of the family!

We don't 'outsource' our business!
